Cross Country's Alyssa Leventer Joins CAC Student-Athletes at 2018 NCAA ConventionIndianapolis, Ind. - St. Mary's College of Maryland junior cross country runner Alyssa Leventer joined a contingent of Capital Athletic Conference student-athletes at the 2018 NCAA Convention. This is the fourth straight year that the CAC has sent a group of student-athletes to the NCAA Convention. This year's group of CAC student-athletes traveled to Indianapolis, Ind. from Jan. 17-20 and had the opportunity to attend NCAA and CAC meetings, educational menu sessions, a Special Olympics event, social events with other Division III student-athletes, and more.

St. Mary's Sailors Open New Campaign by Qualifying for MAISA ChampionshipsThe St. Mary's College of Maryland sailing team opened up the 2014-15 campaign this past weekend, September 13-14, and collected several Top 10 finishes at the Navy Laser Open Men's & Women's, the Harry Anderson Trophy, and the Riley Cup.
The Seahawks posted second- and third-place finishes at the Riley Cup hosted by Old Dominion University while Markus Edegran '16 and sophomores Greer Wattson '17 and Carolyn Smith '17 all qualified for their respective MAISA Singlehanded Championships with their Top 12 finishes.
St. Mary's also claimed an eighth-place finish in the 18-team field at the Harry Anderson Trophy hosted by Yale University.
