St. Mary’s Women’s Rowing Wraps Up Competition in Day One of the Knecht Cup

CHERRY HILL, N.J. - St. Mary's College of Maryland women's rowing wrapped up competition in day one of the Knecht Cup on Saturday (Apr. 13). The Seahawks competed in the Varsity Four and Varsity Eight Heats in the opening day of competition on the Cooper River.

How It Happened

  • The Seahawks finished third of five teams in their heat of the Varsity Four with a time of 8:36.77. St. Mary's College defeated Franklin & Marshall and Stockton to advance to Petite Final that will take place tomorrow.

  • St. Mary's College finished second in heat two of the Varsity Eight with a time of 7:23.07. The Seahawks defeated Catholic and Stockton to advance to the Final that will take place tomorrow.
