Washington, D.C. - The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's basketball team had their February 5th matchup at Trinity Washington University cancelled due to a water pipe rupture at the Trinity Center, making the basketball arena unplayable.
With the cancellation, St. Mary's will now have an extra day to prepare for its Capital Athletic Conference tilt against Salisbury University on Wednesday, February 7 at 6:00 p.m. in the Michael P. O'Brien Athletics & Recreation Center Arena. It's Staff Appreciation Night and the Seahawks are asking fans to wear blue in order to Blue Out the arena. So come out, show your spirit, and help turn the Arena BLUE!
Before facing Salisbury, the Seahawks travel to Dover, Delaware to battle Wesley College in conference action on Saturday, February 3 at 1:00 p.m.
