ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. - The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's swimming team (1-1) hosted the Randolph-Macon College Yellow Jackets (1-1) in their home opener on Friday (Nov. 1) in non-conference action. The Seahawks fell to the Yellow Jackets 115-90.

The Seahawks started the meet strong by capturing a first place finish in the 200 Yard Medley Relay. The team of Peter Orban, Anri Cifuentes Robinson, Ryan Akhavan, and Lucas Wheal finished with a time of 1:42.85. After a long stretch without a first-place finisher, Orban came through for the Seahawks by winning the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 55.02. Next, Sebastian Ludwig recorded a first-place finish in the 500 Yard Freestyle, crossing the finish line with a time of 5:15.27.

St. Mary's College had a strong showing in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with the top-two finishers. Cifuentes Robinson won the event with a time of 1:06.30 and Jacob Rosenzweig-Stein finished in second with a time of 1:08.38, respectively.

Other notable finishes included Ludwig (2nd, 1000 Yard Freestyle), Orban (2nd, 200 Yard Freestyle), Nate Donoghue (2nd, 50 Yard Freestyle), Jack Kennedy (3rd, 50 Yard Freestyle - 2nd, 100 Yard Freestyle), Wheal (2nd, 100 Yard Butterfly), Rosenzweig-Stein (2nd, 100 Yard Breaststroke).
