Cassady Leads Seahawks on Day Two of CAC Championships

ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland Men's Swimming team continued the CAC Championships Friday as the Seahawks maintained their spot in fourth place.

  1. University of Mary Washington – 312.5
  2. York College of Pennsylvania – 222
  3. Salisbury University – 172
  4. St. Mary's College of Maryland – 128.5
  5. Frostburg State University - 122 

How It Happened 

-   Colin Cassady took third in the 50-yard freestyle prelim by swimming a 21.14, which was barely behind the second place swimmer who came in at 21.11. Later in the day, Cassady competed in the finals and again swam a 21.14 but this time it was good enough for third overall in the 50-yard freestyle.

- Cassady, Nate Donoghue, Lucas Wheal and Reed Rhoads claimed fourth place in the 200-yard freestyle by swimming a 1:27.02.
