Senior captain Nicholas LaGuerre (Baltimore, Md./Lansdowne) earned a spot on the All-Middle Atlantic District First Team to wrap up his career as a three-time All-District honoree after picking up second team accolades as a sophomore (2013) and junior (2014).
On St. Patrick's Day, LaGuerre found himself on the East Team roster for the 2015 Reese's Division III College All-Star game, which will be played as part of the 2015 NCAA® Division III Men's Basketball Championship. The All-Star game will be played on Saturday, March 21, at 12:30 p.m. (EDT), prior to the NCAA Division III championship game, which begins at 3:00 p.m. at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va.
He is the second Seahawk to play in the College All-Star game as Alex Franz '11 was on the West Team for the 2011 Reese's All-Star game.
LaGuerre has already added 2015 D3hoops.com All-Middle Atlantic Region First Team honors to his resume. He finishes as a two-time D3hoops.com All-Middle Atlantic Region selection as LaGuerre earned a spot on the third team in 2013.
The 6-3 guard was named the 2015 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Year on March 2nd and wrapped up his outstanding career as a three-time first team All-CAC honoree.
