St. Mary's City, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's basketball team picked up their third straight win with a dominating 64-46 Capital Athletic Conference victory over the Hood College Blazers Wednesday night.

St. Mary's dominance continued in the second half as a 15-point halftime lead became a 59-31 insurmountable deficit for the Blazers with seven minutes remaining. The Seahawks connected on 48.0-percent of the second half shots, including 6-of-12 from the behind the three-point line.
First-year forward J.D. Garris (Boyds, Md./Covenant Life School) contributed to the Seahawks' balanced rebounding front with a season-best five boards.
The Seahawks will travel to Fredericksburg, Virginia on Saturday, January 28 to take on the University of Mary Washington (14-5, 9-1 CAC) in a conference tilt at 4:00 pm.
