Five Ways to Get Your Seahawk Athletic News

St. Mary’s City, Md. – St. Mary’s College of Maryland now has five ways for you, the fan, to receive the latest Seahawk athletic news.  The newest method to stay in touch with the Seahawks is text alerts.

However, the best way to attain all your Seahawk news continues to be the official website of the Seahawks,, which launched its redesign yesterday.  The website includes rosters, schedules, statistics, game recaps, and student-athlete and coaching staff bios.  And new this year, you will now have the opportunity to watch video highlights from the games and various other athletic events.  To check out how preseason is going for the 2011 women's soccer team so far, click here.

The 2011-12 St. Mary’s athletic season gets underway Friday, September 2 as both the Seahawk women’s soccer and volleyball teams are in action.  Women’s soccer hosts McDaniel College at 5:00 pm in Seahawk Stadium while volleyball welcomes Franklin & Marshall College to the Michael P. O’Brien Athletics & Recreation Center Arena for a match at 7:00 pm.
