He relinquished the reins at the end of the 2010-11 academic year in preparation for the arrival of his son, Reid, in August.
He is an avid triathlete who competes in several triathlons along the East Coast each year such as the Kinetic Half Ironman.
For the second straight season, the Seahawk men finished in the top 5 at the Capital Athletic Conference championship while the women placed sixth.
In his first season as the Seahawk cross country coach, Fisher and his charges fared extremely well in their inaugural season as both sides finished in the top 5 at the CAC championships.
The Wappingers Falls, N.Y. native originally came aboard the St. Mary's athletics and recreation staff in November of 2007 as the Director of the Michael P. O'Brien Athletics & Recreation Center (MPOBARC).
A 1992 graduate of the State University of New York at Cortland, Fisher earned a bachelor of science degree in physical education with a minor in management. He then completed his masters in sports administration at Eastern Kentucky University in 1995, serving as a graduate assistant intramural sports coordinator and instructor.
Fisher is married to Stacey Row and the couple resides in Lusby. They have two children named Rachel and Reid.
