Heyde Finishes Up NCAA Trip

Minneapolis, Minn. First-year Kelly Heyde (Wilton, Conn./Wilton) wrapped up her first trip to the NCAA championships Friday morning in the third day of competition at the 2010 NCAA Division III Men’s & Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships.

Heyde competed in the 200 butterfly and finished 27th in 2:08.74.

Senior Rachel Hotchko (Yakima, Wash./A.C. Davis) will wrap up her third consecutive NCAA bid tomorrow with the 100 freestyle event.

This is the fifth consecutive season that the Seahawks have had at least one representative at the NCAA championships.  The championships are being hosted by Beloit College and The College of Wooster at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.
