One of three alums on the St. Mary's women's soccer coaching staff, Jamison Combs is back for a second season as an assistant coach in 2011.
Combs was a four-year letterwinner for the Seahawks, helping the program to 35 wins and a pair of Capital Athletic Conference semifinal appearances under former coach Eric Wagner. As a senior in 2000, he earned second team All-CAC honors and was voted the team MVP. Combs finished his career with seven points (1g, 5a) and started 65 of 68 career games to rank sixth all-time in games started.
The Eldersburg, Md. native graduated from St. Mary's in 2001 with a degree in philosophy. Combs is currently in his third year as a reading instructional resource teacher at Spring Ridge Middle School in Lexington Park. Prior to that, he spent eight years teaching third and fourth graders.
