2011 marks Brianne Weaver's sixth season as the Head Women's Soccer Coach at her alma mater.  Hired in February 2006, Weaver is just the third head coach in the program's 26-year history.  She also serves as the athletic department's Senior Woman Administrator and works closely with the Office of Development.

Weaver kicked off her head coaching career in impressive fashion as she led the Seahawks to a 12-6-2 record in 2006, including the program's first-ever trip to the Capital Athletic Conference championship game.  In her third season with the Seahawks, Weaver guided St. Mary's to a 12-3-3 overall record, including a 6-1-1 mark in CAC action.  The Seahawks went unbeaten in the season's first 10 games (7-0-3) and were rewarded with the program's first-ever national ranking of No. 25 on October 7.

Weaver has led the Seahawks to the CAC title match twice, finally notching the crown in 2008 with a 1-0 triumph over York (Pa.) College and with the conference title in hand, St. Mary's made its first-ever trip to the NCAA women's soccer tournament.

The 2008 CAC Coach of the Year, Weaver became one of seven Division III coaches to earn regional coach of the year honors that same year from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for the Mid-Atlantic region.
