Allie Zerhusen joins the staff of second-year head coach Lisa Valentine for the 2012 season.  Zerhusen brings coaching experience to the Seahawk sidelines from her two-year assistant coaching stint at The Park School of Baltimore.  In addition to coaching lacrosse at Park, she served as an assistant girls varsity soccer coach for two years as well.

Zerhusen was a four-year letterwinner for the St. Mary's women's lacrosse program from 2006 to 2009.  She finished with 179 points on 135 goals and 44 assists to rank in the school's top 10 all-time list in goals and points.  Zerhusen helped the Seahawks to a 48-23 four-year record and an NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament berth in 2008.

The Cockeysville, Md. native earned postseason honors as a senior as she was named second team IWLCA All-Chesapeake Region as well as second team All-Capital Athletic Conference.

Zerhusen was a two-year member of the women's soccer team at St. Mary's as well, amassing two goals and two assists in 13 games played.

She graduated from St. Mary's in 2009 with a degree in human studies.  Zerhusen then earned a Masters in Early Education from Towson University in 2011.

She currently is a pre-primary teacher at the Starmaker Learning Center in Hollywood, Md. and lives in Lexington Park with her fiance, Ryan Alexander '10, who is the assistant men's lacrosse coach at St. Mary's.
