Saint-Aubin Nabs All-Conference Honors

York, Pa. - Senior Stephanie Saint-Aubin (Bowie, Md.) was the lone representative for the St. Mary's College of Maryland women's basketball team on the 2010 Capital Athletic Conference Women's Basketball All-Conference teams which were announced Tuesday afternoon by conference commissioner, Tom Byrnes.  Saint-Aubin garnered second team All-CAC for the second time in her career.

Saint-Aubin finished as the conference's leader in steals for the third time in her career with a 3.5 steals average, just edging Easter Faafiti of Gallaudet University, the 2010 CAC Player of the Year.  She also finished her senior campaign ranked second in scoring with 17.6 points per game behind Faafiti's 19.1 average.

Stephanie Saint-Aubin The 2007 CAC Rookie of the Year, Saint-Aubin was a second team all-star as well in 2008.  The 5-5 guard started all 25 games for the Seahawks, who finished with an overall record of 9-16 (8-8 CAC) and earned the fourth seed in this year's conference tournament.

Twenty-two times Saint-Aubin reached double figures, including 10 where she scored 20 or more points.  The team's leader in rebounding, she recorded nine double-doubles to bring her career total to 14 double-doubles.  She notched a career-best 30 points at Stevenson University (January 30, 2010) while hauling in a career-high 15 boards vs. Widener University (November 22, 2009).

Saint-Aubin was also ranked third in the CAC in field goal percentage (.502), sixth in rebounding (8.5 average) and seventh in free throw percentage (.678).

The Elizabeth Seton HS product ended her career with 1,247 points in 76 games (74 starts) while tallying 269 steals.  Saint-Aubin also added 507 rebounds (6.7 RPG) and 107 assists while averaging 16.4 points for her career.  She finished with a career field goal percentage of .492.
