Saint-Aubin, Scott Recognized by CAC Coaches


North Huntingdon, Pa. - Sophomore Stephanie Saint-Aubin (Bowie, Md./Elizabeth Seton) and junior Allie Scott (Laurel, Md./Atholton) represented the St. Mary's College of Maryland on this year's Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Women's Basketball All-Conference squads.

This is Saint-Aubin's first appearance on the All-CAC Second Team after becoming the second Seahawk in program history to be named CAC Rookie-of-the-Year in 2006.  Scott is garnering second team accolades for the third consecutive season.  The duo helped St. Mary's (18-8) to a winning season for the third time in six years, including its first winning season in conference play since 2004-05 with a 11-5 mark this season.

Saint-Aubin As a sophomore, Saint-Aubin was the conference's second-leading scorer with 17.2 points per game, while leading the league in steals with 99 (3.81 per game).  She was also ranked fourth in field goal percentage (.527), 10th in free throw percentage (.684), and 13th in rebounding (6.7).  This season, the 5-5, guard posted 24 double-digit scoring games, including eight 20+ point games.  Saint-Aubin also recorded four double-doubles, including 10 points and a career-high 12 boards in a 73-58 win over Wesley College.  She had a career-best nine steals in an 82-41 victory over Gallaudet University.

Saint-Aubin was selected once as the CAC Player-of-the-Week for the week ending February 24 after notching 27 points on 11-of-16 shooting in the Seahawks' 79-71 win at Wesley to end the regular-season.

Scott Scott tallied 22 double-figure scoring games as well as seven 10+ rebounding games.  The 5-10 forward registered season-highs of 26 points (vs. Salisbury in the CAC Quarterfinals) and 15 rebounds (at Villa Julie).  She picked a career-high seven pockets in a 73-49 triumph over Trinity (D.C.) University.  Scott was a perfect 10-for-10 from the field en route to 20 points in the Seahawks' 24-point win at Rowan University.

Scott is ranked third in scoring (16.4), sixth in blocks (0.96), seventh in field goal percentage (.469), eighth in rebounding (7.7), ninth in steals (1.81), and 12th in free throw percentage.
