Sailing World Releases Fall 2010 Preseason Rankings

St. Mary’s College of Maryland, the defending ICSA/APS Team Race National Champion, kicks off the 2010-11 campaign ranked third in the coed division and fourth on the women’s side.

Seahawk Sailing and Spring Schedules Now Available for Outlook

The St. Mary's College of Maryland athletic department is pleased to announce that Seahawk fans can now download the sailing and spring schedules into their Microsoft Outlook calendar.

Seahawks Take Fourth at ICSA/Gill National Championship

Light air again foiled the sailing plans of the 18 schools that had trained and competed all year to be able to challenge for the 2010 ICSA/Gill National Championship taking place on Lake Mendota from June 1-3. Boston College captured its first-ever ICSA/Gill National Championship while defending champion, St. Mary's College of Maryland finished fourth.

St. Mary's Wins National Sailing Team Racing Championship

The top 14 schools in the nation were in America’s Heartland racing for the 2010 ICSA/APS Team Race National Championship title on Lake Mendota. For one team, St. Mary’s College of Maryland, it was a reversal of fortune from 2009 when the Seahawks lost this championship on a tie breaker, to come back and win this year’s contest on a tie break with the same team – Boston College.
