September 16, 2014 St. Mary's Sailors Open New Campaign by Qualifying for MAISA Championships The St. Mary's College of Maryland sailing team opened up the 2014-15 campaign this past weekend, September 13-14, and collected several Top 10 finishes at the Navy Laser Open Men's & Women's, the Harry Anderson Trophy, and the Riley Cup. The Seahawks posted second- and third-place finishes at the Riley Cup hosted by Old Dominion University while Markus Edegran '16 and sophomores Greer Wattson '17 and Carolyn Smith '17 all qualified for their respective MAISA Singlehanded Championships with their Top 12 finishes.
