St. Mary’s City, Md. – The nationally-ranked St. Mary’s College of Maryland sailing team had yet another successful weekend as the Seahawks competed in the Fall Women’s Intersectional and Carl Van Duyne MAISA Men’s Singlehanded Championships at the U.S. Naval Academy; the Tom Curtis Memorial Trophy at Georgetown University; and the Moody Trophy at the University of Rhode Island.

No. 7/9 St. Mary's Sailing Takes Second and Fifth at MAISA Women’s Singles
St. Mary’s City, Md. – The St. Mary’s College of Maryland waterfront was busy this weekend as 18 colleges competed in the annual St. Mary’s College Fall Intersectional. Meanwhile, senior Mimi Roller and sophomore Catherine Shanahan traveled to the U.S. Naval Academy to sail for the Faye Bennet Trophy (MAISA Women’s Singlehanded Championship) and a berth at the ICSA Women’s National Singlehanded Championships.

St. Mary’s City, Md. – The St. Mary’s College of Maryland varsity sailing team continues to perform well, as the Seahawks come home from spending the September 15-16 weekend at the Hatch Brown Trophy at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the MAISA Central Qualifier at Tom’s River Yacht Club in New Jersey, and Nevin’s Trophy at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point.

St. Mary’s City, Md. – The nationally-ranked St. Mary's College of Maryland sailing team opened the 2012-13 campaign this past weekend, faring well at the Laser South and Radial Open at the U.S. Naval Academy, the Harry Anderson Trophy at Yale University, and the Riley Cup at Old Dominion University.
