St. Mary's City, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland sailing team participated at the Harry Anderson Trophy hosted by Yale University this weekend and the Seahawks finished 12th in the 20-team field.

The Seahawks sailed 10 races in each of the two divisions.  B division notched the best score for St. Mary's as sophomore skipper Ian Liberty (Colts Neck, N.J.) and junior crew Ainsley Thomson (Princeton, N.J.) claimed sixth in the division with 81 points as the duo notched three top 2 finishes, including a pair of first-place finishes.

Sophomore skipper Fletcher Sims (Annapolis, Md.) and sophomore crew Nicole DeAngeli (Reno, Nev.) tallied a 15th-place finish in A division.
