Gordy Lamphere helped Tabor Academy in Marion, Mass. garner the sailing program's seventh ISSA National Team Racing Championship in 2007, while helping the squad to two NESSA Team Racing Championships.  Lamphere finished second in the NESS Single-handed Championships.  He was also a two-time Illinois State Champion in sailing.
