Magill Nabs All-America Honors for Second Year in a Row

Sophomore skipper Megan Magill (San Diego, Calif.) was the lone representative for the St. Mary's College of Maryland women's sailing team on the 2009 Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Women's All-America Team as announced by the ICSA Wednesday night.
Magill, one of the top 10 women skippers in the Middle
Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (MAISA), was an
honorable mention All-American as a freshman. She earned
All-MAISA honors as well this spring.
Joining Magill as an All-MAISA skipper were juniors Jesse Kirkland (Warwick, Bermuda) and Sara Morgan Watters (Oxford, Md.) and sophomore Michael Menninger (Newport Beach, Calif.), while junior Kelly Wilbur (Ipswich, Mass.) garnered All-MAISA honors at crew.
St. Mary's will be wrapping up the 2008-09 campaign with
competition in the ICSA Women's National Championship (May 25-27),
ICSA/APS Team Racing National Championship (May 29-31), and the
ICSA/Gill Dinghy National Championship (June 1-3).
