Swain Leads St. Mary's Men's Cross Country to Best-Ever Finish at NCAA Mideast Regionals

Swain Garners All-CAC as Seahawk Men's Cross Country Takes Fourth at CAC Championships
Frostburg, Md. – Senior Dan Swain continued his record-setting campaign as Swain picked up the first-ever all-conference honor for the St. Mary’s College of Maryland men’s cross country program while the Seahawks came in fourth at the 2012 Capital Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Championships.

Swain Nabs First Career Athlete of the Month Award
St. Mary’s City, Md. – Dan Swain of the St. Mary’s College of Maryland men’s cross country team became the first-ever cross country runner to be selected by the Department of Athletics and Recreation as an Athlete of the Month.

Swain Nabs Second CAC Runner of the Week Award
York, Pa. – Dan Swain picked up his fourth career selection as the Capital Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week as league commissioner Tom Byrnes announced the weekly honors Tuesday afternoon. This is Swain’s second selection this season.
