Tom Fisher has been with the Seahawk men's and women's cross country programs since their inception in 2009. Fisher was the program's first-ever head coach and guided the squads through their first two seasons of competition before stepping into an assistant coach position for the 2011 and 2012 campaigns. He regained his role as the head coach of the two teams in January 2013.

AT ST. MARY'S

  • Program-best 26th-place finish at 2014 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional
  • Fourth-place finish at CAC Championship in 2009 and 2010
  • Second at York (Pa.) Spartan Invitational in 2009
  • Second at Washington & Lee Invitational and Hood Invitational in 2013
  • Finished second twice in 2014 at Seahawks Invitational and Hood Invitational
  • Picked up a pair of third-place finishes in 2010 and 2015
  • Gained a pair of fourth-place finishes in 2016
  • Assistant coach with 2012 team that won St. Mary's first team trophy, winning the Washington & Lee Invitational
  • Received three USTFCCCA All-Academic Team (2010, 2013-2014) after maintaining at least a 3.10 cumulative team GPA

  • Completed the Endurafit IRONMAN 70.3 Eagleman (Cambridge, Maryland) on June 6, 2013
