Hampden-Sydney, Va. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's tennis team (3-4) dropped a non-conference road match to the undefeated Hampden-Sydney College Tigers (4-0), 8-1.

- Junior captain James Loftis (Annapolis, Md./Saint Andrews [Del.]) and first-year Ethan Garren (Arnold, Md./Broadneck) fought hard at No. 2 doubles but dropped their third straight match, 8-5, to Clark Cummings and Harrison Stone.
- First-year Ron Stith (Cheltenham, Md./Lackey) and junior captain Kyle Van Winter (Scaggsville, Md./Good Counsel) forced a tiebreaker in their No. 3 doubles matchup against Trent Singleton and Levy Young but came up short, 9-8 (10-5).
- Junior captain Connor McKissick (Leonardtown, Md./Leonardtown) improved to 4-3 in dual matches and snapped a four-match skid with his three-set victory at No. 3 singles for the Seahawks' lone point. McKissick took the first set, 6-3, before Singleton responded with a 6-2 win in the second. With Singleton forcing a third-set tiebreaker, McKissick outlasted Singleton, 10-8, for the win.
- First-years Jonathan Gorel (Jessup, Md./Hammond), Garren, and Stith would all put up solid efforts at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 5 singles, respectively, each winning six games in falling by the identical score of 6-2, 6-4.
