Casey Brandt was introduced as the aquatics center director and the men's and women's swimming head coach in June 2016. Brandt brought a great deal of technical and developmental knowledge following 18 years of successful coaching experience with a proven ability to instruct and lead at the highest levels.

  • Director of Seahawks Swim Camp
  • Owns and serves as program director for Seahawk Swim School (formerly Seneca Swim School), working to promote water safety, teach foundational technique, and support the competitive swim program
  • Spent eight years with the Chesapeake Bay Aquatic Club, including three as a head coach
  • Developed qualifiers at USA Swimming Sectionals, Junior Nationals, and Olympic trials as well as multiple Level AAAA standard achievers and state qualifiers
  • Worked with several other swim clubs in Maryland such as the Mariner Swim Club in Baltimore, the Carroll County YMCA in Westminster, and the Smallwood Village Swim Club in Waldorf
  • 2006-07 Metropolitan Swimming Age Group Coach of the Year as the head age group coach at Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics (New York, N.Y.)


  • Holds American Swim Coaches Association Level 4


  • Most Outstanding Swimmer at 1995 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships after leading Loyola College to program's first MAAC team title and scoring 44 points
  • Two-time MAAC champion in 200 individual medley (1994 and 1995)
  • 1995 MAAC champion in 400 individual medley
  • Two-time team MVP as a sophomore and senior
  • Two-time team captain as a junior and senior
