Seahawks Conclude Season at CAC Championships

ST. MARY'S CITY, Md.  The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's swimming team concluded its season on Sunday as they finished up day four of the CAC Championships.

  1. University of Mary Washington – 1064.5
  2. York College of Pennsylvania – 651
  3. Salisbury University – 488
  4. Frostburg State University – 352
  5. St. Mary's College of Maryland – 351.5

How it Happened

-   Peter Orban finished third in the 200 yard-backstroke prelims on Sunday morning as he swam a 1:56.79. Orban also swam a 1:56.29 in the 200-yard backstroke final, which was good enough for fourth place.

- Ryan Akhavan claimed fifth in the 100-yard IM finals with a time of 55.62. He also took a fifth place finish in the 200-yard fly final by swimming a 2:00.28.

- Colin Cassady finished his last CAC Championships with a fourth place finish in the 100-yard freestyle final with a time of 46.56.

- Sam Lopez, Lucas Wheal, Nate Donoghue and Cassady all concluded St. May's season by swimming a 3:12.93 in the 400-yard freestyle relay final, which put them in fourth overall.
