DeBoissiere Notches Second CAC Swimmer of the Week Honor
York, Pa. - St. Mary's College of Maryland freshman men's swimmer Billy DeBoissiere (Columbia, Md./Atholton) picked up his second Capital Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week honor of the season for the week ending November 15 as announced by league commissioner, Tom Byrnes, Tuesday afternoon.
DeBoissiere paced St. Mary's (4-1) in its 15-point loss at Washington (Md.) College this past Saturday as he nabbed three individual gold medals and remains undefeated in his respective events.
DeBoissiere touched the wall first in the 1000 freestyle in 10:32.57 while capturing the 500 freestyle in 5:04.85. He ended the meet with a first-place finish in the 100 breaststroke in 1:00.08.
DeBoissiere is currently 3-0 in both the 500 and 1000 free as well as boasting a 4-0 mark in the 100 breast stroke.
He currently owns the top time in the conference in the 1000 free as well as the top times in the 100 and 200 breaststroke events.
