Fredericksburg, Va. – For the second straight week, a St. Mary's College of Maryland men's soccer player has been honored by the Capital Athletic Conference office. First-year forward Isaac Ekobo (Hyattsville, Md./Thomas Stone) was named the CAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week of September 11.

Ekobo claimed CAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after having a hand in two of the Seahawks' three goals in a 2-1 week.

He netted the game-winning goal against Washington College for his first career goal in the 86th minute. Ekobo then assisted on the insurance tally against Bridgewater (Va.) College as St. Mary's finished as the runner-up at their own Seahawk Classic.

The Seahawks (3-2-0) will be back in action on Thursday, September 14 when the team travels to Washington, D.C. to face The Catholic University of America (1-2-2) in non-conference action. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
