Change of Venue for St. Mary's Men's Lacrosse Home- and Season-Opener

St. Mary's City, Md. – St. Mary's College of Maryland head men's lacrosse coach Jason Childs announced Wednesday that this Saturday's home- and season-opener against Ferrum College will be played at St. Mary's Ryken High School in Leonardtown.

The venue was changed in an effort to preserve the grass game field at Seahawk Stadium for the duration of both the men's and women's lacrosse seasons while the Jamie L. Roberts Stadium Complex is being constructed. With heavy rains today and rain again being forecasted for Saturday, the athletics department thought it prudent to move the game.

Game time for Saturday's game is still 1:00 p.m.
