Patrick Behan enters his first year on the St. Mary’s men’s basketball coaching staff this season.  Behan joins the Seahawk program after coaching for one season at Loudoun County High School in his hometown of Leesburg, Va.

While at Loudoun County, Behan helped prepare the team both offensively and defensively.

At St. Mary’s, he is expected to play a vital role in the development of the Seahawk post players.  Behan will be involved in all aspects of the program including scouting, recruiting, and serving as the head coach of the junior varsity team.

Prior to becoming a coach, he played professionally in Germany.  Behan played his collegiate ball at Bucknell University where was an All-Patriot League performer in 2009.  He graduated in 2010 with a degree in English.
