A local product out of Great Mills HS, Matt Leddy is looking forward to the 2012-13 season and his third year with the Seahawk men's basketball coaching staff.  Leddy will be focusing on guard development at practice.  He is also entering his second season as the basketball coach at Leonardtown Middle School.

The Great Mills, Md. native has also coached at the Athletes for Better Education (AFBE) team camp and Chris Harney's Basketball School.

Leddy played three years of basketball at Stevenson University.  As a guard/forward for the Mustangs, he notched 155 points, 26 assists, 23 steals and 10 blocks in 57 games played.  Leddy shot 33.8% from the floor, including 33.7% from downtown, while averaging 2.3 rebounds per game.

He graduated from Stevenson in 2010 with a degree in business administration.
