TICKETS STILL REMAIN: St. Mary's Men's Basketball Hosting NCAA First Round Game Thursday

St. Mary's City, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's basketball team was included in the 62-team field for the 2012 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship Tournament as announced by the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Committee Monday afternoon.  This is St. Mary's fourth NCAA berth and third straight.

The tournament begins Thursday, March 1 with two two-team, first-round games and St. Mary's (19-7) will serve as one of the two first-round hosts.  The Seahawks will face No. 25 Bethany (W.Va.) College (25-3) on Thursday at 7:00 pm on Ed Cole Court in the Michael P. O'Brien Athletics & Recreation Center Arena.

Thursday night's winner will advance to the second round to take on No. 7 Virginia Wesleyan University on Saturday, March 3 at 7:00 pm in the Jane P. Batten Center.

TICKETS STILL REMAIN FOR THURSDAY'S GAME: Tickets still remain for Thursday night's NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship Tournament First Round contest.  Ticket sales will resume tomorrow morning at 9:00 am at the Michael P. O'Brien Athletics & Recreation Center concession stand (when facing the Welcome Desk, the concession stand is to the left).

Ticket prices for Thursday's action are $6 for adults and $3 for children (3 and older), students, and senior citizens (62 years or older).  Children younger than 2 years of age are free.

The NCAA allotted St. Mary's 800 tickets for Thursday night (500 adults and 300 students, senior citizens).  If the student/senior citizen tickets sell out, students and senior citizens will have to purchase an adult ticket for $6.
