Tonight's home victory marks the 12th straight at ARC Arena for St. Mary's.  The last time that the Seahawks dropped a home contest was exactly a year ago when SMCM suffered a 72-70 setback to Marymount (Va.) University on January 30, 2008.

Griffin tallied 23 points on 10-of-10 shooting and matched his season-high with a game-best seven assists, while Fitzpatrick contributed 18 points on 7-of-7 shooting, including going 3-of-3 from downtown.  Fitzpatrick also had a double-double as he grabbed 10 rebounds.  Senior center Alex Irmer (Alexandria, Va./Wakefield) added 14, while sophomore guard Alex Franz (Catonsville, Md./Cardinal Gibbons) had 13 and five assists.  Bowden ended with 11 points, while Wise was 5-of-5 to finish with 10.

Local Great Mills HS product, sophomore Matt Leddy (Great Mills, Md.) was the only other Mustang to notch double digits as Leddy chipped in 11 points on 3-of-4 shooting from downtown.

St. Mary's will return to action this Saturday, January 31 when the Seahawks travel to Arlington to take on Marymount in a CAC tilt at 4:00.  In their previous meeting this season, SMCM registered a 76-67 victory over the Saints on December 6.
