Allie Skiest returns to the field hockey sidelines as a first-year assistant coach in 2011 following a stellar career for the Seahawks.

Skiest was a star midfielder from 2007 to 2010, earning second team NFHCA All-South Region honors as a senior.  She was also a three-time All-Capital Athletic Conference selection, including first team honors in 2009 and 2010.

Selected to play in the North/South Senior All-Star game, Skiest finished her four-year career tied for 20th all-time with 19 points (5 G, 9 A).  She never missed a game for the Seahawks, starting all 67 contests.  During her tenure, St. Mary's amassed 39 wins and advanced to the CAC championship game twice.

Graduating in 2011 with a degree in human studies, Skiest is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Teaching at St. Mary's.
