Ryan D'Antuono continues to make an impact on the Seahawk baseball program as D'Antuono returns for his second season as an assistant coach in 2012, working predominantly with the pitching staff.

Last season, D'Antuono guided the Seahawk pitchers to the second lowest team ERA in the last 10 years as the bullpen finished with a 4.39 ERA in helping St. Mary's to its first winning season since 2004.

A 2008 St. Mary's graduate, D'Antuono had a solid four-year career for the Seahawks as both an outfielder and right-handed pitcher.  He finished with a .288 career batting average, driving in 36 runs and connecting on six doubles, six triples and one home run.  On the mound, D'Antuono threw 157.1 innings in 37 career appearances with 26 starts, two complete games, and save while striking out 144 batters during his career.

He graduated from St. Mary's with a degree in human studies.
