Coach Jenkins Announces More Schedule Changes

St. Mary's City, Md. - Head baseball coach Lew Jenkins announced Friday morning additional changes to the 2010 schedule as St. Mary's College of Maryland continues to wait for the Hawk's Nest to thaw out.

Coach Jenkins said that tomorrow's doubleheader with Wilkes University has been cancelled and most likely will not be rescheduled.

However, the Randolph-Macon College contest that was postponed on February 6 has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 25 at 3:30 pm at the Hawk's Nest.  It will be a single, nine-inning game as opposed to the originally scheduled doubleheader.

The Seahawks' season-opener, which has been pushed back four times so far, will hopefully occur on Wednesday, February 24 when SMC travels to the Eastern Shore to open up conference play at No. 7 Salisbury University with a single, nine-inning game at 2:30 pm.
