Earl Dean has been a fixture around the College campus for 41 years now, splitting his tenure between the Physical Plant and Athletics.
Dean started his career working maintenance at the Physical Plant in September 1975, spending 18 years in the Physical Plant before crossing the street in January 1994 to begin work as the Seahawks' equipment room manager.
He is responsible for the distribution of all practice and game uniforms, inventory and storage of all game uniforms, cleaning/washing and upkeep of all practice gear and game uniforms, and equipment and field set-up and breakdown for all athletic events and assists with game management as well.
A St. Mary's County native, Dean is married to Sandy Owens and the couple has been married for 46 years. The couple has three grown children - Earl, Jr.; Dennis; and Brandy - as well as five grandsons.
