Crystal Gibson is commencing her first year as the athletic department's Senior Woman Administrator in 2012-13.  Gibson joined the St. Mary's family in 2011-12 after taking over the Seahawk women's basketball program.

She spent three years at the helm of the Arcadia University women's basketball program in Glenside, Pennsylvania prior to St. Mary's.  Gibson helped to grow the program during their first three seasons in the Middle Atlantic Conferences' highly competitive Commonwealth Conference.  The Knights achieved their first league win in 2010-11 and finished with the most number of victories (7) since the program’s one-year stint as part of the MAC’s Freedom Conference during the 2007-08 season.  While at Arcadia, she also served as the assistant sports information director. 

Gibson has also held assistant coaching positions at NCAA Division III institutions, Frostburg State University (2006-08) and her alma mater, Lebanon Valley College (2005-06).

At Frostburg State, she was responsible for opponent scouting and player development, including teaching offensive and defensive techniques and fundamentals as well as recruiting.  Gibson served as an assistant coach for the women's basketball and track & field teams at Lebanon Valley.
