    Fredericksburg, Va. – The Capital Athletic Conference announced Thursday morning that a record 1,514 student-athletes were named to the 2017-18 All-Academic Team, an average of over 150 student-athletes per full-member institution.

    Indianapolis, Ind. - St. Mary's College of Maryland junior cross country runner Alyssa Leventer joined a contingent of Capital Athletic Conference student-athletes at the 2018 NCAA Convention. This is the fourth straight year that the CAC has sent a group of student-athletes to the NCAA Convention. This year's group of CAC student-athletes traveled to Indianapolis, Ind. from Jan. 17-20 and had the opportunity to attend NCAA and CAC meetings, educational menu sessions, a Special Olympics event, social events with other Division III student-athletes, and more.
