Winter Storm Stella Affects St. Mary's Baseball and Men's Lacrosse

St. Mary's City, Md. - This week's competition schedules for St. Mary's College of Maryland baseball and men's lacrosse have been altered due to the effects of Winter Storm Stella.

BASEBALL
First-year head coach Bernie Stratchko announced that Wednesday's home game against York College of Pennsylvania has been postponed while Thursday's home doubleheader against the University of Rochester has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Coach Stratchko is hoping to reschedule the York contest for late this week.

MEN'S LACROSSE
Second-year head coach Jason Childs stated that Wednesday's home game against Lycoming College has also been postponed. The two coaches are working on a potential reschedule date.

However, the Seahawks' Capital Athletic Conference opener against Southern Virginia University is still on for this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Seahawk Stadium.
