Tom Fisher came aboard the St. Mary's athletics and recreation staff in November of 2007 as the Director of the Athletics and Recreation Center (ARC).

Fisher is responsible for the daily management, programming, and operation of the ARC, including revenue generation and scheduling, as well as hiring, training, and supervising the student staff.

Before arriving on the St. Mary's campus, he served as both the Assistant Athletic Director and the Intramural Director at the State University of New York at Delhi, a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), for 10 years.  Fisher oversaw operations of the CADI Fitness Center and managed all aspects of home Bronco athletic events as assistant AD.  While at SUNY Delhi, he was also an adjunct professor for sports officiating and intramural administration.

In accordance with National Intramural/Recreation Sports Association (NIRSA) guidelines, Fisher also initiated and scheduled intramural and recreation programs for a diverse student population.  He was also the summer camp coordinator for five years.

A 1992 graduate of the State University of New York at Cortland, Fisher earned a bachelor of science degree in physical education with a minor in management.  He then completed his masters in sports administration at Eastern Kentucky University in 1995, serving as a graduate assistant intramural sports coordinator and instructor.

Fisher and his wife, the former Stacey Row, reside in Lusby with their daughter, Rachel; son, Reid; and their dog, Riley; and cat, Nittany.
