St. Mary’s City, Md. – Junior Ali Collie (Glen Arm, Md./Dulaney) was named the St. Mary’s College of Maryland Athlete of the Month for the month of March. This is Collie’s first Athlete of the Month award. The Athlete of the Month awardee is selected by the Department of Athletics & Recreation management team.

After recording only one hat trick in her first two years as a Seahawk, Collie notched five hat tricks in March, including ending the month with four straight. She tallied at least one goal in all but one of the seven games played in March.

The 5-6 attacker notched a career-best five goals twice in back-to-back games against Roanoke College on Mar. 18 and at Randolph-Macon College on Mar. 22. Collie finished with a career-high six points at Randolph-Macon while causing a season-best two turnovers at Christopher Newport University on Mar. 31.
